Trespass Affidavit Program
Trespass Affidavit Program (TAP) form is also known as a letter of agent form. The TAP program gives the police the power to act as your agent when there is a criminal trespass occurring on your property. This program avoids the property owner, or his/her designee, to respond to the scene to file a complaint against the trespasser. This is a free service. The only requirements are that the TAP form is notarized, submitted to the police department, or CID Public Safety Manager Frank J. Mazzilli; and a No Trespassing sign be posted in a conspicuous place on the owners property. The CID has purchased these signs in bulk, and these signs are available to purchase at cost.
