Project Overview
Enhancing the Southern Gateway to the District
The intersection of Fulton Industrial Boulevard and Campbellton Road serves as the southern gateway into the Fulton Industrial district. Establishing and strengthening a sense of place along the 11-mile corridor is one of the CID’s priorities. Currently, there is nothing at this intersection to let visitors know they have entered the district.
Gateway Signage and Wayfinding
To welcome those who conduct business in and travel through the district, a branded gateway monument sign will be installed at the intersection. Along with landscaping, wayfinding elements will strengthen the corridor’s sense of place and professional image and provide helpful guidance for those visiting district.
Streetscaping
To further beautify the southernmost portion of the district, the project includes landscaping the medians along Fulton Industrial Boulevard from Campbellton Road to Kendall Park Lane. A variety of native, low-growing and heat-tolerant plants and shrubs will be incorporated.
