Operational & Streetscape Improvements: Fulton Industrial Boulevard From Cascade Road to Camp Creek Parkway

The original Fulton Industrial Master Plan identified the Camp Creek Parkway and Cascade Road intersections at Fulton Industrial Boulevard as key district gateways. Stakeholders also identified these locations as priorities for operational improvements and streetscape enhancements. After GDOT completed operational improvements at Camp Creek Parkway and Fulton Industrial Boulevard in 2017, the CID advanced work at Cascade Road and Fulton Industrial Boulevard, while also planning streetscape enhancements around both intersections.

This project supports a better experience for those moving through the district. Safety and operational upgrades at Cascade Road and Fulton Industrial Boulevard will improve access and help passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, workers and visitors travel through the corridor more efficiently. Streetscape improvements will add landscaping, sidewalks, streetlights, enhanced pedestrian safety crosswalks and islands, gateway signage, and public art.

Together, these improvements create a stronger sense of place at two major gateways, improve the daily experience of people who work and do business in the area, and reinforce the district as a vital employment and logistics corridor.
