I-20 / Fulton Industrial Boulevard Interchange Revitalization

Project overview

As part of ongoing efforts to revitalize the Fulton Industrial Boulevard area, the Fulton Industrial Community Improvement District and Fulton County Government hosted a visioning session in June 2022 for the Fulton County-owned properties located around the Interstate 20 and Fulton Industrial Boulevard interchange area. The visioning session and stakeholder input was memorialized in a document that summarizes the discussion and feedback. The session included more than 30 individuals representing city of South Fulton, Fulton County staff and elected officials, commercial and business owners, and tenants.

Visioning Session

The visioning session and facilitated discussion focused on potential land uses such as retail, office, industrial/distribution, hospitality and education/training. Stakeholders offered feedback and voted on the most desired land uses and development scenarios. The combination of real-time voting results and discussion provided a unique set of preferences and relevant factors for future development in the area.
