Operational improvements are planned at the intersection of Cascade Road and Fulton Industrial Boulevard to relieve some of the traffic that exists at that intersection. As there is less than one-half-mile distance between Fulton Industrial Boulevard’s intersections with Cascade Road and Camp Creek Parkway, streetscape improvements are also planned. The streetscape improvements are part of a much larger project that includes the Cascade-Fulton Industrial intersection, the Camp Creek-Fulton Industrial intersection and continues to Bakers Ferry Road and Lakeview Court to the south, Fulton Camp Way to the east and West Park Drive to the north. The CID has $1 million in Transportation Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (T-SPLOST) funds to help pay for the improvements and will apply for more funding from the Atlanta Regional Commission.
