A Public-Private Partnership Helping Businesses Thrive
The Fulton Industrial Community Improvement District (Boulevard CID) is a self-taxing organization funded by commercial property owners seeking to take an active role in the ongoing revitalization of the Fulton Industrial District. Founded in 2010, the CID is a public-private partnership that works to address issues of importance to district property owners and provides services focused on creating a clean, safe and vibrant commercial corridor.
The CID’s corridor-specific revitalization and improvement programs are accomplished by working with local and state agencies, leveraging funds and advancing initiatives to keep the district safe, clean, accessible and commercially competitive through economic development strategies.
The CID is governed by a nine-member board of directors comprised of local property and business owners. The CID employs two full-time
employees that include an executive director, Gil Prado, and a public safety manager, Frank Mazzilli.

Marketing Communications, Public Relations, Branding and More
Leading the efforts to provide a safe and clean district were just the start. To raise Fulton Industrial area’s profile among potential visitors and investors, the CID has a robust marketing and public relations plan that highlights the district’s unique businesses and assets. Our multi-point plan focuses on:
- Communication: Regular meetings with business owners and stakeholders, along with district updates via email and a quarterly e- newsletter.
- Marketing: Marketing materials to highlight district advantages and unique businesses.
- Public Relations: Outreach to appropriate media outlets with press releases and media events.
- District Branding: Distinctive signage to help brand, enhance and create a sense of place, and the “Stella Nova” (link to 3.3.1) and
“Atlanta Gateway” (link to 3.3.2) sculptures that visually define major gateways into the district. - Community Development: The CID works to build a sense of community by creating networking opportunities for district stakeholders to build partnerships with one another.

To meet the needs of increasing growth in the Fulton Industrial corridor, the CID serves as both a community liaison and advocate for our commercial property owners and their businesses. As business needs vary and change constantly, we are proud to be a point of contact owners can call for assistance in finding the person, agency or program that can address their specific needs. We also provide a list of helpful links for business resources on this website.
We also advocate for the entire district and on behalf of our member businesses for inclusion in planned transportation and infrastructure improvements, regional development initiatives and long-term growth plans, keeping the area positioned for continued prosperity in the future.
