On January 1, 2013, the CID hired a full time Public Safety Manager, Frank J. Mazzilli. He has 30 years of law enforcement experience as a local police officer and as a federal agent. He works closely with the Fulton County, City of Atlanta, and the City of South Fulton Police Departments. Mr. Mazzilli also interacts with the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office, Solicitor’s Office, Code Enforcement, Fire, Health and wellness, Economic Development, and a cadre of federal and state agencies in order to insert a comprehensive approach to public safety in the District.
